OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY CLINIC

Occupational Therapy specialises in fixing you. It aims to get you out of pain, moving better and feeling better so you can lead a great quality of life. We help you to do everything you want to do – better.
At Infused, our Occupational Therapy department specialises in Soft Tissue Occupational Therapy, which means we treat a large range of musculoskeletal conditions. We treat a wide range of clients, ranging from elite athletes to the corporate sector to everyday mums and dads. We also treat a range of age groups, from early childhood through to the elderly.
At Infused, we practice in the context of spinal muscular and biomechanical soft tissue care, focusing on the interrelationship between people’s daily activities and their soft tissue function to reduce pain, improve strength and flexibility and address injuries.
We treat a variety of conditions, including but not limited to:
- headaches and migraines
- neck, midback and lower back conditions
- shoulder and upper limb pain
- knee, hip and ankle conditions/injuries
- acute sporting injuries
- muscular strains and tightness
- joint pain and conditions
- flexibility issues
- tendonitis

Occupational Therapy sessions at Infused are registered to be claimed through most private health funds, depending on your level of cover, with a significant portion of the fees being reimbursed.
CROSSFIT CLASSES
All classes are coach-led
Based on the effective prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines strength training with classic cardio elements to produce the best results in a short workout.
In this 1-hour Coach-led class, you will train strength, learn new skills like gymnastics movements or barbell lifts, and push your fitness limits in our metabolic conditioning workouts. Every day’s workout is different so you never get bored! We can scale (make it less challenging) each workout to match your fitness level, so you get the most out of your workout every time.
EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY
Consultation with our Exercise Physiologist
Our Exercise Physiologist specialises in the delivery of exercise, lifestyle and behavioural modification programs for the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries.
Exercise Physiologists are high trained health professionals who can conduct assessments to identify the individual needs of each client and complete individualised rehabilitation programs based on those needs.
Our Exercise Physiologists will design an exercise program to help you meet your goals, supervise each session if required or desired, assess progress and modify your program as required.
We treat a variety of conditions, including but not limited to:
- diabetes and obesity
- back pain
- shoulder and upper limb pain
- knee, hip and ankle conditions/injuries
- acute sporting injuries
- long term postural complaints
- pre and post surgery rehabilitation
- aged rehabilitation (balance, falls risk, prevention of muscle and bone loss)
- paediatrics
- flexibility issues
- pre and post natal care
- muscular pain
- tight weak muscles

If you’re looking to make quick, efficient progress toward your specific goals then consider joining us for a one-on-one training session. These sessions are the most effective and efficient way to achieve your personal fitness goals, from basic weight loss to identifying and conquering your weaknesses.
KIDS AND TEENS CLASSES
Getting Started At Infused CrossFit
Kids: 5-9 yrs (30min sessions)
Pre-Teens: 10-12 (30min sessions)
Teens: 13-16 yrs (45min sessions)
Our program focuses on a child’s motor and cognitive skills by teaching proper movement in an interactive and fun group setting through challenging the children to think about their movement, count their repetitions, remember sequences and work towards goals. Infused Kids/Teens will learn skills to protects against injury, become part of a community of like-minded individuals, feel supported and gain self-confidence. They will gain life skills such as focus, perseverance, dedication, motivation, and goal-setting.
